Aura Dogs is born out of the artistic career of Ramiro Albán. About Ramiro Albán:

He is an Ecuadorian artist, animal rights activist and dog lover. His works of art hang in the homes of Hollywood luminaries like Orlando Bloom, Lionel Richie, Katie Perry, Ryan Seacrest, William Shatner and César Millán.

In the last few years, he has used his art to capture the connection between a person and their canine companion. He attributes his success to his “special artistic sensibility to express visually”.
His art is tactile and interactive because he believes that “we, human beings, want to feel our pets, even if it is through art work.

Ramiro bases his work on the aura colors and the deep connection
between human beings and their pets. When a person hugs their pet or shares a moment of love with them, there is an exchange of energy, frequencies and vibrations. His job is to interpret all this
through art.

After many trials experiencing materials and techniques, his artwork has become tactile and interactive.

People always want to feel their pets, even in an art piece. His passion and craft have led him to use various tools like lenticulars, anamorphism, ferrofluids, magnets, textures such as acrylics, leather, fabrics, embroidery, and some engineering such as gears and AR, among others. These materials give the work a feeling of being alive and creating unique personal moments.
